Seeking A Private Referral

Seeking Relationship Support

If you are interested in accessing counselling to support your relationships you can self-refer to our services. We will check with you whether you meet any of the criteria for our funded services and if so we will guide you how to get a referral made through a health professional.

If, however, you do not meet any of these criteria, you may still proceed to counselling through self-funding. If you complete an enquiry on the website a member of our Scheduling Team will contact you to get your details and arrange to book you for an initial consultation with a counsellor.

In the consultation you can discuss with the counsellor the issues you would like to address and they will help you formulate a focus for counselling.

Following the consultation session there is usually a short period of time before counselling will commence. The normal duration for self-referral counselling is up to 12 sessions which take place at the same time each week.

We understand that things come up, and we may be able to reschedule individual sessions where you have given enough forward notice, but it is important that you are able to commit to weekly sessions at the same time each week.
