What Is It?
Relate NI is working in conjunction with Nexus and The Rainbow Project on our Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) Programme. The RSE programme is an age-appropriate, sex-positive, LGBT+ inclusive programme for young people aged between 15 & 16.
Who can we work with?
The programme is fully funded by the Public Health Agency, which means it is entirely free for youth & community groups and will take place over 4 x 2 hour sessions, either weekly or fortnightly.
Information can be tailored to the needs of the specific group and there is flexibility on whether sessions are delivered online or face to face, although it is a requirement that at least one session takes place in person.
The Relate RSE programme will explore some of the following issues:
The Human Body & Development
Sexuality & Sexual Behaviour
Values, Rights, Culture & Sexuality
Violence & Staying Safe
Skills for Health & Wellbeing
Sexual & Reproductive Health
Outcomes of this service
Our RSE Program will help build confidence, understanding, empathy and inclusion.
